/ frChocolates do not like temperature variations, which is why we use temperature-controlled packaging with insulated containers and refrigerant packs to maintain an interior temperature between 15°C and 20°C (59°F and 67°F) until delivery, regardless of the outside weather and temperature. This summer packaging allows us to guarantee delivery of your chocolates in perfect conditions anywhere in the world, all year round. Upon review of your order, a customer service representative will decide whether to use our summer packaging based on your recipient's local weather and temperature. There is no action required on your part and this service is complimentary.
During the summer months in the Northern or Southern hemisphere, we may choose to ship your order prematurely or delay shipment due to local and transit temperatures. This is because our chocolates are sensitive to heat, as they don’t contain preservatives and have very low sugar content. By changing the shipping date of your package, we reduce the risk of it being stored in a warm facility over the weekend and therefore can guarantee freshness upon delivery anywhere in the world. We will, accordingly, inform you shall we decide to change the shipping date.

All packaging materials, including zBoxes, assortments, and outer packaging boxes are made locally - in France and are recyclable. We have entirely banned plastic from our packaging except for our necessary gel packs to keep your chocolates fresh during shipping, and these are reusable just like our mahogany and chestnut wooden boxes.
