Garland is a Texas town entirely located in Dallas County, USA. A small part of the city is included in the districts of Collin and Rockwall. Travis College Hill Historic District, a residential area in downtown Garland, was the first site in Garland's history to be added to the National Register of Historic Places, administered by the U.S. Department of the Interior through its National Park Service. Two months later, the downtown square and surrounding buildings became Garland's second site added to the prestigious list. Travis College Hill consists of 12 houses from 1913 to 1960. Nicholson. Six years later, the Nicholson Memorial Library opened its doors in his honour. NETLS serves a 33-county region that includes 105 member libraries. NETLS headquarters and offices have been located in the LNMLS central library since 1983.
