With a mission to arouse interest and wonder for nature and science, the museum offers dynamic exhibitions accessible to all. This is the perfect opportunity to take the scientist out of you and discover a little more about the world around us. The museum highlights collections from Quebec and Sherbrooke's cultural heritage. The current exhibition, Stem Cells, Unimagined Power, invites you to become a researcher for a day by "manipulating" stem cells. Will you let your curiosity tempt you? Musée des beaux-arts de Sherbrooke Located in a magnificent historic building in downtown Sherbrooke, the Sherbrooke Museum of Fine Arts houses three galleries and presents more than ten exhibitions annually. It is therefore difficult to get tired of visiting this place where culture dominates, with a touch of regional flavour. It is the main player in the conservation and dissemination of the visual arts in the Eastern Townships. The current exhibition presents the works of Catherine Bolduc, a multidisciplinary Quebec artist. Sherbrooke Historical Society The Société d'histoire de Sherbrooke wishes first and foremost to arouse the interest and sense of belonging of Sherbrooke residents for their city and its history. If you are a new resident, the Society offers you the opportunity to learn more about the historical heritage of the Sherbrooke area. The Vive Memory Circuit and the Old North Circuit They are not museums in themselves, but they are very beautiful activities to do in Sherbrooke to visit unknown corners of the city and to admire the works of many artists. The Vive Memory Tour invites you to discover the murals of the city centre. Accompanied by videos, animations and albums of old photographs, you can walk at your own pace, guided by an iPad support, and learn more about the local history and architectural heritage of Sherbrooke. For its part, the Old North circuit offers you a hike in the streets of Sherbrooke, using a map and an iPod.
