The city has professional American football, baseball and hockey teams. They train several times a week and it is possible to attend their preparatory sessions. Many hotels have private golf courses, water sports complexes and tennis courts. As for boxing fans, they can attend matches organised by the MGM, Caesars Palace or Mirage. This is the city of all fantasies. Las Vegas, the city of casinos, giant hotel complexes and shows was Sunday the scene of a shooting. In the middle of a concert by country music singer Jason Aldean, in the Mandalay Bay hotel-casino, bursts of automatic fire rang out. A recent assessment reports more than 50 dead and about 100 injured. The shooting took place on the Strip, the busiest street in this city entirely devoted to gambling, consumption and leisure, the city has two faces, one by day and one by night and one has absolutely nothing to do with the other. During the day, Vegas is a hot city full of casino hotels, period. At nightfall, it turns into a city of light with all its hotels struggling to offer the most beautiful lighting, the most beautiful show, the most beautiful entertainment! A stroll in the Strip is then essential! The Strip is the nickname of the Las Vegas Boulevard section where most of the major Las Vegas hotels are located such as Caesar Palace, Flamingo, Harrahs, Paris and Bellagio among others. You will see a fire show on the front of a hotel, a cannon shot from another and you can take a gondola ride. The hotels also offer many shows: magic, singing, circus, dance, etc.. These shows are not given but seem worth it for those who like this type of entertainment, which is not my case. So I won't be able to talk about it any longer. The Strip is therefore lights, flashing lights, crowds and from a certain time, drunk meat. It's also nice to walk around different hotels. Slot machines don't really change, but the decor does. It's often very kitsch, but whatever, we're in Las Vegas, it's part of the folklore!
