Burnaby Lake Regional Park, home to some 200 bird species, is popular with ornithologists. The Central Park, formerly a marine reserve for its wood, protects the immense DOUGLAS TAXIFOLIÉS. The Burnaby 8-Rinks Ice Sports Centre is the world's largest indoor skating rink and home to the VANCOUVER CANUCKS training courses.
