Are your chocolates 100% pure cocoa butter?

According to a law (2000 / 36 / CE) adopted on June 23rd, 2000  by the European Parliament, chocolate producers are now allowed to replace a portion of the cocoa butter in chocolate with vegetable fats. This portion may not exceed 5% of the finished product. Without going into the history of this decision, adding anything other than cocoa butter to chocolate makes no sense other than economically. What is profitable to some is detrimental to others, and this means the rich chocolate consumer countries will save on the purchase of cocoa beans to the harm of the producing countries, the economy of which often depends on the market for cocoa beans. By adopting an approach of using only 100% cocoa butter, zChocolat respects the quality and the nutritional value of high-end chocolate while defending the principle of fairer business practices.
