zChocolat Amazes the French Food Industry

June 10th 2013

zChocolat presented a selection of its chocolates at the launching of the well-awaited 'Guide Gantié 2013' - *THE* reference for epicureans in the South of France. As a sponsor of the event, zChocolat astonished the guests with its delicious, sophisticated and 100% natural chocolates, handmade by the Master artisan and World Champion French Chocolatier Pascal Caffet.

Guide Gantié, the ultimate gourmet reference in the PACA region

Articulated around discovery, this guide, written by Jacques Gantié, former journalist at Nice-Matin and gastronomic critic, presents the most select restaurant and gourmet addresses of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, but also a choice of lodgings, job advertisements in restoration and recipes enhancing the unique savors of Provence. Each launching has become the occasion to gather artisans previously indexed in the book for a high-end tasting in the presence of restaurant owners, chefs, journalists and hospitality directors. The 22nd edition of the guide, available in French and in English, compiles more than 800 addresses to pamper your taste buds – a must-have for those who want to discover the tradition and finesse of the South. This year, zChocolat was the only one invited to present and offer chocolate.

A place where art, wine and land coexist in perfect harmony

The event was held at Château La Coste, located in Puy-Sainte-Réparade, north of Aix-en-Provence, an ideal place for wine and art lovers. In 2004 Château La Coste decided to create a place to celebrate and perfect art, architecture and land. Now, this 250 acres domain harmonizes perfectly the charm of an eternal Provence with the originality of modern art, where the amazed visitor, over the course of his promenade, can discover massive installations in vast lands of vines. Our boxes, classic and sleek, were glowing in that majestic decor.

The chocolate-flavored stars of the night

This vineyard, in the Bouches-du-Rhône department, was the perfect venue to house the launching of the Guide Gantié 2013 where 600 guests came to savor local products in a sumptuous setting. Under the last warm sunbeams of the day, figures of the regional food industry tasted a selection of our best chocolates: the famous Z chocolate, in white, milk and dark covertures, the crunchy number 0, the smooth number 5 and the addictive chocamandines. Described as succulent, with a perfect balance of flavors and textures, our chocolates won everybody's hearts. zChocolat was definitely the stand to go to for a decadent chocolate treat between two glasses of wine.
